I have to confess, it took me ages to come up with a name. I usually ask for help to my fiancée, but we were both, how can I say this.. well.. speechless.
I've started an oil painting of this photo, but it is not finished. Actually it is abandoned and alone in a workshop where I was learning some techniques. Too bad the sand in the front is a bit blurry.. The cloudscapes you captured is once again: very nice <3 It was supposed to be blurry. I was lying on the sand. It is to make you feel like you're there, and it is also to get a sence of depth.
Thank you very much!  Its a beautiful picture. I think that most of your pictures would make great paintings, or drawings. This one though does stand out as having the potential for a strong painting. I do a lot of oil painting, let me know if you need tips or ideas. Painting is always tough because there are a lot of techniques. It can be frustrating as well because a lot of paintings don't look great until it's finished. It can be a long process. Best of luck on the painting! I think it will turn out nicely!
